Suraj is one of the few attorneys licensed to practice in both Washington State and British Columbia. As a lawyer licensed to practice in both the US and Canada, Suraj advises companies and individuals on a wide range of US immigration issues including temporary work visas, intracompany transfers, foreign labor certification (PERM), permanent residence, expatriation, inadmissibility waivers, consulate assistance and investor visas. Suraj provides legal advice to multinational corporations, small businesses and individuals alike in developing immigration strategies and ensuring successful cross-border travel.  

In addition to this immigration practice, Suraj is also a successful and experienced litigator in both Washington and British Columbia. Suraj has represented clients in both the Superior Court of Washington and the British Columbia Supreme Court, including bench trials, mediations, and arbitrations. His primary focus is injury claims stemming from motor vehicle accidents in both Washington and British Columbia, slip and falls, and other personal injury actions.

Outside of work, Suraj enjoys spending time with friends and family and stays active by playing ice hockey, boxing, and cheering for the Vancouver Canucks.
